The capital of Bulgaria has some very interesting tourist attractions, as well as its gastronomy.

The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, has become one of the city's symbols. Built in the late 19th century, it stands out for its impressive domes. Alongside this Cathedral, we can also highlight the Church of St. Sophia, built in the 6th century, known for being one of the best examples of Paleochristian architecture in Southeastern Europe.

Other notable buildings and places to visit in the city include the Central Baths, which are currently being restored, the Central Market, where you can buy delicious pastries, or some of the museums in Sofia such as the National History Museum, the National Archaeological Museum, or the National Art Gallery.

One of the great attractions of this city is also its nightlife; the entire city center is full of bars and nightclubs where you can fully enjoy this experience.
